About eight years ago my husband bought a stainless steel teakettle for me. I have used it every day and have only used Bon Ami to clean and polish it. It still shines like new. My husband has been ill for some time and he won't be buying presents for me anymore, so my teakettle has become a treasure. Thanks Bon Ami!

I've checked your site but I can't find a reference to my personal favorite use of Bon Ami, removing soot from campfire cookware. Traditional Boy Scout and Girl Scout training has campers spread soap on the outside of pots prior to cooking over the fire. In my experience, this results in a real mess; the burned soap is extremely messy and wastes a lot of water.
I have found a thin paste of Bon Ami and water seems to dissolve even the thickest glazing of soot off cookware. I'd like to know, however, if the paste/soot mixture can harm a bare hand and if the paste/soot mixture is biologically harmful; Scouting stresses Leave No Trace so I need to know if I need to teach the Scouts to wipe, not rinse the pots clean. Regardless, thanks for an excellent product that's kept my camping pots shiny.

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you that I just tried your Bon-Ami on my bathtub and WOW! This stuff is amazing! I have tried everything on our bathtub and nothing works...then yesterday I remembered I had gotten a free sample of the Bon-Ami and I thought, what the heck I will give it a try and wow...I can't believe how clean and white it got our bathtub! Funny thing is, for years I saw this stuff sitting on the edge of my grandmother's bathtub and I thought well that cleaning stuff is just some old fashion stuff....now I am thinking why I didn't pick up on my grandmother's advice years ago?

Just a quick note to tell you how I "rediscovered" your Bon Ami.
My bathtub was stained and looking very tired. For the past several months, I have tried every cleaner I saw in the store or advertised on TV. None seemed to work. Some were so harsh, that it was difficult to clean, the fumes were so strong. Despite this "strength," the tub still didn't seem clean.
I happened to stumble upon a can of Bon Ami that I had bought some time back. I thought, "why not?" I was pleasantly surprised and truly amazed at the results. I can't believe how my tub sparkles! It took very little effort to get the tub looking like new, there were no harsh fumes, and the application required only a sponge and a quick rinse of water.
Thanks for making such a great product! You can be sure I will be using Bon Ami all around the house from now on!

Thanks you for having such a GREAT Product! I started using it for my new Corian counter top last year and it’s wonderful. Also just recently I was painting a bedroom and had to cleanup in a hurry! I didn't want to use an abrasive or harsh product on my hands and arms (messy painter) so I used your mild but very effect product.
I was so happy and relieved that the paint came off (water based) so easy and didn't hurt my skin.

I have used Bon Ami since I was in grade school. My mother made me use it to wash windows. I had not seen it in stores for many years. When I recently moved to TX, I was delighted to find Bon Ami Cleanser in a local store. It is the best thing I’ve ever used on my sink. Thanks for a wonderful product & a few childhood memories.

Absolutely incredible! Nothing, and I mean nothing, cleaned the shower units like Bon Ami. I have well water and a water softener, but the years of sediment and mineral deposits and rust had taken its toll. I have used virtually every product on the market, and then some, since I have access to various lab chemicals.
ONLY Bon Ami cleanser cleaned it all!!! You've made my day. I'm on my way to work now, and I will tell the world about Bon Ami. Guess my Grandma was right - she always had Bon Ami in her home!!!

Your Bon Ami scrub is almost the ONLY cruelty-free cleaner I can get in my supermarket (buying others requires that I have to drive or take the subway).

To the makers of BON AMI:
I am a person with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity). Any products with odors especially fragranced products produce severe migraines and breathing difficulties for me.
Your product has been a Godsend. I can tolerate it fairly well because I smell no chlorine, perfume or dyes.
I don't know if you can appreciate not having those ingredients in your product, but I and a host of many others DEPEND on having a product such as yours.
I am telling everyone about it.
There are not many products out on the market that do not have fragrances/perfumes. We usually have to go to expensive specialty stores for these things and the cost is outrageous.
Thank you for allowing the supermarkets and grocers to carry your product at a cost that won't break our bank accounts.
I hope you'll always make this product- I love using it and it works great!
Please remember there are many of us who are dependant on your product.
It actually is a matter of life to us.

I'm a clean freak and I couldn't get my white stove top clean. Ajax, I feared, would be too abrasive and perhaps damaging...Fantastic All -Purpose Cleaner proved less than its name implied. So I inquired at my local hardware store..."BON AMI", he said confidently...Now, I've heard of Bon Ami but was not too certain...so I called mom. She said. "Absolutely. Bon Ami..."
So I bought your product...and it worked beautifully! My father always said that when you have the right tools, not only does it work effortlessly but in an interesting way you feel good, accomplished with the job.
Like a trusted friend, Bon Ami will be around me for a long, long time....
I'm not a wacko...I just feel thankful when things work out so smoothly...

Dear Bon Ami:
I’ve got to tell what a wonderful product you have. But, I’m sure that you already know it. I own and operate a small leaded and stained glass business, here in Mount Vernon New York; your product in the last month has really been a blessing. We, on occasion have to disassemble stained and leaded glass windows, and then reassemble them. These windows have clear panels in them; the problem was that the clear panels become weather stained after many years. These stains are tree sap, water stains, and at times bird droppings.
Up until now I was throwing these damaged pieces away,
now, with your product and a little time, these stains are gone, no scratches either… And I can reuse the glass, and give the window as much of its original glass as possible. These windows are usually 65 to 75 years old and the home owners want to keep the old window glass, but they want it to look new, so I use Bon Ami. Many years ago my grandmother told me. “This Bon Ami Cleaner is the BEST"
I should have listened to her, thanks again for a wonderful product.

I am writing to let you know how much I love Bon Ami. I was introduced to it after I purchased a Corian sink for my home (I'm refurbishing a 93 year old house in St. Louis). I wish that I would have started using it earlier! It works better than any other cleanser I've used-- even the expensive ones. I was even more pleased to learn that it is biodegradable and you use recycled materials for packaging.
