Chick Rating 5I always had cracks in my thumbs until I switched to home made hand soap and Bon Ami dish soap. What an amazing difference! Not only do I have the soft hands of a child again, my nails now grow without breaking. People have no idea how harmful chemicals are, and we've all been conditioned to believe that if things don't foam they aren't cleaning, but that's not true at all. Now, my home is chemical free. Thank you for a fantastic product. Please get it out to more grocery chains.

Chick Rating 5I bought the Tangerine and Thyme Dish Soap for the first time this weekend, and I'm in LOVE. The cute, retro packaging caught my eye and I liked the ingredient list, so I figured I'd try it. It's perfect for dinner dishes, but it's also an EXTREMELY good grease-cutter for tough jobs. I keep dishware and crystal above my kitchen cabinets and they get very greasy from cooking and collect dust, which makes for a sticky mess. I filled the sink with hot water and Bon Ami dish soap and soaked everything. It was like magic. The gross, filmy layer came right off when I took my sponge to it. Thanks for a fantastic product!

Chick Rating 5I first started using the dish soap about a year ago, I really liked it. The store I bought it from ran out and didn't have it again for a while. When I purchased the soap again it was like a completely different product. It was so thin it might as well have been water. The lovely tangerine and thyme scent that I loved was almost non detectable. I wondered if the formula was changed or if I just got a bad batch, so I purchased a new bottle and got the same disappointing product again. This is so unfortunate because I really loved the original product.

Chick Rating 5It's a fantastic product that somehow made its way to a Cold Storage in Singapore and I am SO thankful it did. It cleaned off 20 years worth of cooked on grease from my cooker hood that had resisted all kinds of cleaners- chemical, natural and mechanical. Saved my sanity!!

Chick Rating 5I miss the polishing cleaner. I trusted it for old, beautiful and valuable things. It had a Corning endorsement. This does not feel or look the same; it's grittier, like the feldspar is not as fine, but maybe I just imagine it. The rinse water is brownish with heavy seeming particulates that settle to the bottom of the water. The former cleanser did not dry my hands like this does. Sometimes simple and natural are not better; some things are better left as they are. It was not broken and did not need fixing. I feel a loss. It's better than the destructive comet and ajax, but not by much anymore.

Chick Rating 5I have used BonAmi powder for over 20 years. My children know not to use anything other than BonAmi on my dishes or stove or any thing that I need an abrashive cleanser on. It is so gentle on glass and fine products as silver. I love what BonAmi does for my home use. I plan to include the other products in my cleaning. It is very hard to find them in the stores in my area; I was glad to see your web site. Thank you for your continuation of such a valued product.

Chick Rating 5Holy smokes.... this is the best cleanser EVER!!! I don't know where I've been, but I have never tried this stuff before (the powder cleanser). Totally bought it on a whim at a Target on sale. Tried it on the bathtub and shower... oh my gosh, it is like a brand new bathroom!! I cannot believe it! Kinda creeps me out that the bathroom was that dirty and I didn't realize it! And for a "scrub," I usually don't buy those because they are a lot of work. But this was a piece of cake! Already I have recommended this product to everyone I know. I can't wait to see if I can find the other products, too!

Chick Rating 5I have been using this dish soap for over 3 yrs (?) now. Although it is not advertised as "low sudsing," I find that it is, which is one of the things I love most about it. I don't end up with a sink full of suds that take forever to rinse down. I also love the light scent of the tangerine. Thank you for this great product. I sincerely hope Bon Ami stays around for many more years to come.

Chick Rating 5I have used Bon Ami all my life!!! There are at least 5 cans in the house at one time. If the shower pan was not completely rinsed out after being cleaned w/ Bon Ami and the cat drinks from the pan, could that cause him to be sick?

Chick Rating 5I have been using this product for over 40 years. When I was a kid an elderly neighbor showed me how to remove a scratch from a watch face with it. Back then it was in a cake form and I still have it my garage. I now use the powder to clean a fleet of trucks that I have in my recycling/waste company. We use it for all the chrome, stainless steel, aluminum and glass. There is nothing on the market that work any better or faster than this stuff. I am a customer for life.

Chick Rating 5My husband and I bought an antique cabinet with glass front doors. We had to strip it using strypeze paint remover. WELL, we were tired, it was dark and some of the stypeze had gotten on the glass and etched it in streaks down the front. I was heartbroken. The glass is original and I did not want to replace it. We tried everything, paint thinner, apple cider vinegar, windex, more strypeze, nail polish remover and white erasers. NOTHING worked even a litte. Every time it dried, the streaks were as visible as ever. I said a little prayer that I would find something that would work and I just happened to have some of your powdered cleanser under the sink. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I went at it. NOT ONLY did it remove the streaks, it gave the glass an amazing shine!! I am SO happy! Thanks for a great product!! I can't wait to be able to share this information with my family and friends!

Chick Rating 5I received some samples of Bon Ami's new dish soap at my local supermarket. I've always had the Bon Ami cleansing powder around so I thought I'd try the dish soap. At first I was skeptical about it working because it doesn't make as much suds as the brand I usually used. After buying a bottle and using it for over a month I have to say I love it. I love the tangerine scent. It works extremely well and doesn't clog my sink with extra suds. It also helps keep my sponge from getting smelly.

Chick Rating 5I LOVE Bon Ami! I use it on everything - from pots & pans to the kitchen sink to the bathtub. Stubborn water spots and soap scum? Gone with Bon Ami! This is the best non-toxic cleanser (inexpensive, too!) a house can have. If you haven't tried it, you should.

Chick Rating 5I have used cake Bon Ami and powdered Bon Ami for cleaning laboratory glass ware and microscope slides since the 1960s. I was very disappointed when the cake Bon Ami was discontinued but switched to the powdered form out of necessity. A thin slurry of Bon Ami smeared over glass equipment makes for quick easy cleaning. With microscope slides, the slurry is allowed to dry and the slides stored. When a clean slide is needed, a soft cloth removes the powder and a perfectly clean slide!

Chick Rating 5Our microwave is 11 years old. I have tried to clean the grease that has built up over the years. Nothing seemed to work. I bought your all purpose cleaner in Bon ami Housewarming gift. Wow was I impressed. The greasy mess just melted right off. Looks like a brand new microwave!!

Chick Rating 5Our kitchen sink is white porcelain. Its only about a year old but was stained and looking brown. My parents always talked about Bon ami so I went looking for it on the web. So glad to find your company. Sink is now sparkling white. I would not trust anything else to clean well and not scratch. Thanks

Chick Rating 5My husband is allergic to sulfates. (He used to run an oil company, but he quit when his doctor determined that his 2 1/2 years of pneumonia were caused by the sulfates in oil burner soot.) Most soaps and dish detergents are based largely on sodium lauryl sulfate. So when our daughter discovered that your dish soap was not, she bought us a bottle. Although it does apparently contain a small amount of sulfate in the form of epsom salts, it is little enough to avoid the problems my husband has with the other soaps. We love this product! It gets the dishes clean, comes out of the bottle in a controlled amount unlike more watery products, and it doesn't irritate my husband's skin! (Hey, I have a husband who is willing to wash the dishes, so anything I can do to make the job less unpleasant for him rates high in my book!)

Chick Rating 5I love this product! It cleans my bathtub, sinks, pots and pans, stove top and MORE. I had cleaned my stove top with Comet and couldn't get all the crud off, but when I received this powder cleanser I decided to give it a try, and it totally cleaned my stove top, INCLUDING the crud comet couldn't get up! It doesn't hurt your hands, and it rinses much easier than bar keepers friend or comet. This stuff has changed my life! I love it!

Chick Rating 5I love this stuff. I have eczema on my hands and am allergic to latex so I cant wear gloves. I use this stuff and my hands do not break out. It is great that it is natural and still works. Thank you!!

Chick Rating 5I used this in the '80's when I was bartending through school, and have always compared any other products to it for the results they should have been able to give. Thanks for providing a solid and useful product that doesn't harm the world.

Chick Rating 5I have finally found a product that cleanses well, and doesn't cause my skin to split, crack and generally itch. It also cleans anything in my kitchen without residues, funky after smells, and doesn't encourage mold and mildew. I wish I had this years ago. I'm slowly suing up my other products so I can switch to Bon Ami for all of my cleaning needs. Thanks!

- Lisa, July 2011

Chick Rating 5I used to use various acidulated cleansers to take care of hard water stains on my stainless sink and other stainless fixtures around the house. Not only do they smell awful, they're never quite up the the task. The light abrasive in this cleansing powder is exactly what I needed. Amazing results, thank you.

- Dana Rogers, February 2011

Chick Rating 5Remember the old adage, don't fix it if it ain't broke...the original formula was far superior to this new one. I used to buy 4 or 5 cans at a time, now I'm looking for a new brand to replace it. Why? The original could be used for many applications but for me it was used to polish up my kitchen tile and clean the grout. I was able to see my reflection and the grout was white again. Now it is so much harder to achieve a shine and the grout won't come clean. It's sad to say goodbye to my kitchen helper of many years. Good luck to you.

Chick Rating 5I love this product, I've used it for several years now. I use it to scrub pots and pans and I also use it to scrub my bathtub. It's very important to me that the cleansers I use aren't causing chemical harm to the environment so thank you for not letting me down.

Chick Rating 5I love Bon Ami Powder and want to be able to continue using it. However I really liked the new products and would but them as well. I especially liked the liquid cleanser in my bathroom sink which is mounted in an antique chest of drawers. The small bottle is just right for putting in the drawer and I liked that feature.

- Mike, January 2010

Chick Rating 5I really liked the clear liquid multipurpose cleaner. It did not leave a smeary residue like Formula 409, which I usually have to wipe afterwards with water. It cleaned well and made my appliances sparkle. I think I could use it on glass or my microwave and it would work great.

- John, January 2010

Chick Rating 5loved the liquid cleanser, either scented or unscented- so much easier to use than the bon ami powder that I use on pots and pans and stove top grease. I would buy it at almost any cost for the ease of use. It works as good as the old bon ami cake that I miss for some cleaning jobs. I did like the lite scents in all of the products, nice but not overpowering.
